The orchards are planted in frost-free soils, allowing the fruit to be harvested in its optimal state of ripeness and color. Neighboring orchards are W Murcott and Hass avocado plantations, so there is no pollen to induce seed emergence. We develop integrated pest management, as a way to maintain the balance of the ecosystem and reduce the use of pesticides.
